ISO 9001:2015 Quality System Upgrades
The transition from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015 BMS can be a technically demanding and time consuming process, particularly if it is to be done well. Resource limitations mean that the full benefits provided by a properly designed, upgraded ISO 9001:2015 system may be difficult to capture.
The Australian Productivity Council offers cost effective expert services to support a range of technical infrastructure requirements, needs that might otherwise not be addressed because of scarce resources and specialisation constraints. The ISO 9001:2015 Quality System Transition specifically addresses the needs of the business within the quality management discipline through a flexible and economical approach. This is based on an initial gap-analysis followed by a structured transition development plan to the requirements of the new standard.
The service is intended for businesses that will benefit from having the ISO 9001:2015 upgrade quality function developed by a specialist, but are unable to rely on unqualified and inexperienced in-house personnel. It is suitable for businesses of all types and sizes, in all industry sectors.
Typically, the service will include: system gap-analysis, training, document control upgrade, re-formatting framework defining new system requirements, e.g. business context, interested parties, system risks, objectives, leadership commitments, also attendance and support during re-certification audits by the certifying body, re-writing procedures, re-mapping processes and KPIs, work instructions, system renovation and redesign, etc. where appropriate. Specific content, however, will reflect and adapt to the special needs of each client.
